This first image is one of my favorite moments from Liz & Gus’s wedding ceremony. The family gathered in the North End and we walked to a specific alley off a side street and this is how everyone kicked off the wedding weekend. Part 2 was a party with a whole bunch of family and friends at The Beehive.

I think there’s a lot of inspiration for traditional takes on wedding days but I love a non-traditional day and showing what that can look like.

This was all in about an hour.

and it can look like this….

The day was small group of family members coming together, a loose plan in place but enough flexibility for the spontaneous to happen too.

Spontaneous – like when there was an electrician parked on this quiet alley where we didn’t expect any cars. Totally fine. You barely notice it in the photos.

Ceremony for the closest people in your life, portraits in the middle of that side street and a quick walk through the North End for some scenic spots.
