I thrive in the unpredictable nature of family location session. We set off on a little green space in Winchester for last week’s photo shoot. The family had scouted the location for the fleeting color that was peaking, we were blessed with a some nice shade and a dash of beaming sunlight beyond the trees. The kids are the biggest wild card, but that’s my favorite part!!
Here’s the family sitting in a prime spot and the little guy, Finn, had other things in mind – RUN.
A real reflection on a real family moment.
But then we try and try again to get the “all eyes to the camera shot”. They were in love with the reds of this tree and the sun made the colors pop and was the perfect backdrop.

Even with a healthy dose of running around, the autumn air can get chilly. We headed inside for a calmer family moment. This window light was amazing and the perfect nook for reading.

Always one to embrace the irreverent and unpredictable, here are two moments in between the sweet family ones.

Love the last one in the series! A big soft chair, a little girl and the picture of childhood fun. I love your work
Thanks so much Ann!!
