The guys don’t often get much attention during their pre-ceremony preparations and usually they’re a-okay with that. Two weeks ago I was second shooting a wedding in Connecticut for Anna Sawin and I had a rare opportunity to be one-on-eight with these elusive guys.
I’m thrilled to give you an inside peek into what it is they do exactly.
Now they were all ready when I arrived, 45 minutes before the limo was leaving. There wasn’t much left to do but document the calm and cool, collected bunch. Playing dice games, taking shots, drinking Miller Lite, texting last-minute messages, etc…
I did have the Best Man do a photo-op, tie adjustment.
The Mother of the Groom rounded out the bunch.
(Like my Mom) She covers nearly every inch of wall & shelf space with family photos.
This is her showing off her soon to be married son.
Inspecting the ring and handing it off to the Best Man.
But did it really make it to the church as planned…..
Dice game
Mom was watching out for the limo. Right on time.
At the church.
This is about when the groom asks if the best man remembered the ring…. Oops.
Mom was still at home and brought it over.
More texting
Love these, Steph-covering the men is a tough thing to do and your images are beautiful and fun and spontaneous and a great portrait of that part of the day, thank you!
