Willowbend Country Club . Cape Cod Wedding

Let’s jump halfway through the day for quick portrait on the beach, a little slice of Kristin and Mark’s wedding day between Mashpee and Falmouth on the Cape.

…but now let’s get back to where the day started. I love the buzz that surrounds a bride on her wedding day. The smiles and good energy fill every room she steps in (the groom too of course but we’ll start first with Kristin)

Kristin got ready with her Mom, sister and best friends at Willowbend Country Club. Mark and the guys got ready at a private home not far from the church.

The shoes above have I Do in rhinestones but like any practical bride the shoes got an appropriate amount of wear on the soles.

The bridesmaids popped (with gusto) champagne and looked classic in blue.

Bridesmaid selfies and I’m always looking for obvious photo ops OF photo ops.

I love the behind the scenes of this part of the day!

While on the cape look for water, boats and weathered cedar shakes.

The drive in the Bride’s limo is always a highlight. I sit as far away toward the front of the limo cab and grab little moments like this. Yes the drive had a little bit of drizzle, but just enough to add a perfect amount of suspense. Of course every good story turns around and has a perfect ending.

Mark on the phone with family before Kristin arrived.

We jumped in a car and made our getaway to the beach for some portraits with some gorgeous soft light.

A good day for wedding portraits or sitting surf side with some beers. Either way.

These two Mother’s Dances were some of most spirited I’ve seen in a long time. That good energy I mentioned, it’s very much part of these moments.

A photo has the unique ability to capture a moment silently and for a small group of people they can fill in the caption if they’d like, or not. Preserved never the less.

But then the mood picks up, as it often does, this night more than most. Thanks to Clockwork for getting the guests to have an amazing time!!!

And a megamix of some very happy friends celebrating!!

Many Thanks to Kristin, Mark, their family, friends and everyone that made the day possible.

The photos are just wonderful Steph! I have gone through them several times this weekend and it is so heart warming to be able to live through it all again. I will always have the memory of that day and the reminder in your photos. Thanks!
